Exclamation Antivirus Uninstall?

I installed NOD32 Antivirus 4.0 and I am trying to uninstall but, every time I try it gets an error about eckrn.exe... I go to task manager and try shutting down in process tab and nothing happens, it won't close down...


I can't even install a new anti virus onto my comp.

I need help any one ever have a problem like this?

did you tried to disable the antivirus protection first ? cuz if its running you cant deinstall most of them otherwise do it manually try to remove all folders and files and also registry entries and try to install it again

Thanks yeah, idk why but, it wasn't shutting off properly so, i reinstalled it . I think it was corrupted or something.

shut off your pc, and when you boot it up, go into Safe Mode and uninstall it, while in safe mode, that is how i did it when i uninstalled ESET NOD 32 4.0 because a shitload of folks been having issues with it

i think it would be best if u dl U uninstaller I had that problem it took it right off without having to do anything but click unistall
